wE ARE sPARKY
Sparky 384 is a First Robotics Competition (FRC) team that is comprised of students from J.R Tucker High School and mentors from many fields of engineering and technology. We are a team that is based out of the Richmond area. Our team is comprised of a diverse group of students who all share a love for STEM and with the help of our mentors, we are able to participate in the FIRST Robotics Competition every year.

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a not-for-profit public charity designs programs to motivate young minds to pursue careers and education in STEM while building life-skills and knowledge. FIRST is more than robots, it’s a program that inspires children to become leaders and innovators and enhance their 21st Century work-life skills.
